From The Natarelli family:
To the family of Hank Brown:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
We listened to Hank Brown from the beginning of his radio shows in the Valley
onto Twist-O-Rama and then his radio shows up in Utica.
When Hank Brown came and rapped his voice around the Mohawk Valley and
like he always said about living here,
“it wasn’t by chance, but by choice.”
That’s how much he loved living here!
Unlike a political politician who understands
that one party isn’t going to like you,
an entertainer always gives his whole heart to be loved by all his or her audiences.
That’s what Hank Brown was, a true entertainer who gave it his all everyday.
I believe that it was a real Blessing to have Hank Brown on the Radio and TV to entertain us throughout the many years he worked.
I had the privilege of meeting Hank Brown
in Little Falls when he met my father and two other veterans at the local Stewart’s Shops
here in town where he took the time helping them with some veterans paperwork that they needed.
I found that Hank Brown had a good sense of humor on one hand but also could be serious
when the time called for it.
He was a very professional person
who carried himself with a celebrity status
knowing the difference between them.
When his work was over he was very polite to everyone, told some jokes, and took the time to say hello to everybody there at Stewart’s!
Hank Brown took the time to introduce all the artists on the records he played...
But I think it would be an absolute absence
here not to think that Hank Brown wasn’t an artist himself.......
I believe that Hank Brown left the Mohawk Valley a better place....
Taught us all to love one another...
Before it’s too late.....
Like he always said;
“Because here on Earth Nobody Gets Out Alive.”
Reminding us how time is very short.
We will always remember The Hank Brown Show.. and he’ll always be our “host for coffee and toast.”
May Almighty God Always Bless You!
Love,
The Natarelli Family

Never met Hank, but as an elementary school kid growing up the 60s, I watched Twist A Rama USA weekly on WKTV. When the show went off the air, I wrote a thank you letter to Hank for entertaining us. He wrote back and thanked me for watching saying "It's fans like you who made our show a success for four years."
