Harry J. Enea Jr., President
Harry was born and raised in Herkimer and has four children:
Harry, III, Kevin, Andrew and Daniel. Harry is a graduate of
Herkimer High School, Herkimer County Community College and
Simmons Institute of Mortuary Science in Syracuse. He received
his funeral directors license in 1971. He is very active in
the community holding memberships with many clubs and organizations.

Elk's Lodge, Rotary club (honorary member), Little Falls Community
Chest, DeCarlo-Staffo Post honoroary member, Sons of the American
Legion, Slovenian Home, Civic Club past president-two terms,

of St. Mary's Academy school board, Little Falls Wrestling Booster
Club, United Way Campaign chariman for 2005-2006, Valley Health

of Herkimer County, Friends of Bassett board member, Herkimer

Church Council, Herkimer, former Herkimer Elks Braves little
league coach and the American Red Cross board: six year member.
When Harry has spare time his hobbies include volunteer work
and giving back to the community. He also enjoys serving as
master of ceremonies at a variety of functions.
Vincent A. Enea
Vincent was born and raised in Herkimer. He is married to the
former Elaine Tomei. They have three children, Vincent, Anthony
and Elyse Enea. Vincent and his family reside in Little Falls.
Vinny is a graduate of Herkimer High School and Simmons Institute
of Mortuary Science and received his funeral directors license
in 1981. He was formerly the Herkimer County
Coroner, serving district 3. He is very active in the community
holding memberships with many clubs and organizations. He is
a board member with the Herkimer County BOCES Dollars for Scholars
program, active with the St. Anthony Crusaders in Herkimer,
NY and a member of the Tri County Funeral Directors Association.
Kevin E. Enea
Kevin was born and raised in Little Falls. He is a graduate
of Little Falls High School, Xavier University and the Cincinnati
College of Mortuary Science in Ohio, obtaining his funeral directors
license in 1995. He is very active in the community holding
memberships with many clubs and organizations. He is currently
the manager of Burdick Memorials, Clinton, who merged their
business with our family in 2005. He oversees the operation
of Enea Memorials and DeRegis-Walser Monuments (In Syracuse)
as well. Kevin married Kristy Leigh (White) of Ilion, NY on
Augst 25, 2001 and their daughter Claire Nicole Enea was born
on December 19, 2006 at the Birth Center of St. Luke's Hospital,
New Hartford, NY. His memberships include Herkimer Lions Club,
St. Anthony Crusaders of Herkimer, NY, Little Falls Rotary Club
(Past Treasurer), St. Francis Club of Frankfort, NY, Herkimer
Elk's Lodge, Herkimer Masonic Lodge (Past Junior Deacon), former
member of Frankfort Kiwanis, Tri-County Funeral Directors Association,
NYS Funeral Directors Association (served as Shadow to past
President Mark Kowalczyk), National Funeral Directors Association
(Attended Conventions as far as Las Vegas, Nevada), Herkimer
Knights of Columbus, Church of Annunciation, Ilion, NY (served
as Lector & Eucharistic Minister), Dolgeville Masonic Lodge,
Current Member of Association for Gravestone Studies, Greenfield,

Daniel J. Enea
Daniel was born and raised in Little Falls and is a graduate
of Little Falls High School and the SUNY Institute of Mortuary
Science at Canton. He received his funeral director license
in May of 2001 and started his term as Herkimer County Coroner,
District #3 on January 1, 2007. Dan belongs to the Little Falls
Elk's Lodge, Frankfort's St. Francis Society, Herkimer Salvation
Army Advisory Board, New York State Association of County Coroners
and Medical Examiners, Ilion's Moose Lodge, St. Anthony Crusaders,
Knights of Columbus, the Herkimer Rotary, YWCA child advocacy
advisory board, Ilion days planning committee, New York State/National
and Tri-County Funeral Directors Association. In his spare time,
he enjoys volunteering his time to the community. Dan was very
active in the planning stages of the Herkimer BiCentennial celebration
in 2007. He also works with the Kenyon International Disaster
Management Team, Houston, Texas and took part in rescue and
recovery efforts during Hurricane Katrina. On November 14, 2007,
Daniel officially became a member of the New York State Family
Assistance Program (FAC) through the NYS Funeral Director's
Association. The group will respond to incidents similar to
the tragic capsizing of the Ethan Allen Tour Boat on Lake George
on October 2, 2005, which resulted in the death of twenty people.
The 23 FAC members are volunteer funeral directors from across
the state who will take action after a disaster occurring within
the State of New York.
Michael A. Beran
Michael was born and raised in Herkimer. Michael has been with our firm since he was a teenager and graduated from Herkimer High School, and Simmons Institute of Mortuary Science receiving his funeral directors license in 1991. He resides in St. Johnsville.
Brian Roberts
Brian is a graduate of the Simmons Institute of Mortuary Science, obtaining his funeral directors license in 1970. Before obtaining his license, he served our country with the United States Marine Corps. He and his wife Diane reside in Dolgeville. They have three children, Brent, Brian and Bradford. Brian joined our family of funeral directors, merging his business in 2002. He is the Herkimer County Coroner, serving district #2, holding this position since 1975.
Don Applegate Donald Applegate received his Funeral Directors license in 1967, graduating from the Cincinatti School of Mortuary Science. He and his wife Judy reside in Ilion. Don has five children, Jay and Justin Applegate and Suzette (Applegate) Baker, and John and Mark Cook. He also has four grandchildren. He was elected Herkimer County coroner of district #4 in 1985, retiring in 2000 after 15 years of service. Don merged his business with the Enea family in October of 2004, ending his affiliaton with Stewart Enterprises, a large funeral home conglomerate.
John Day John is a graduate of the Simmons Institute of Mortuary Science, obtaining his funeral directors license in 1994. Before obtaining his license, John was a firefighter / emergency medical technician, and became the Ilion Fire Department Deputy Fire Chief / Emergency Services Coordinator. He and his wife Jolene and their six children reside in Ilion. He is the Herkimer County coroner, serving district #4.
